You mean anything???

So we went to register the other day. I've been worrying myself over what bedding we will get, what are color schemes will be, whether things are too expensive and such. Then i was told be several people, don't worry about how much things cost. You just get what you think is reasonable and people will go in together and get it for. And if we don't get it, oh well, either go buy it with the money people give us or save up and buy it for ourselves. So I can go ahead and register for anything? But it's a little overwhelming. I've never had to buy most of that stuff for myself. So when you tell me dishes come in a 5 piece set and I need 12 sets, I'm like, holy crap! That's a lot! And when it comes to Fine China...the ones i was looking at costs $90 a set. And I need how many??? Who on earth is going to pay that kinda money?? I don't believe they will. But we shall see....

We only registered some at Dillards. We got our bedding. Even thought I still can't belive Heath picked this out. I'm starting to have doubts thinking maybe we should pick something else....But I really like it. It's very pretty with the chocolate brown (Heath's favorite part of it) and it's pleasant on the eyes. However he drew the line at the furry round brown pillow. :(

These are the fiesta dinnerwear we registered for. Nice bright colors make me happy. Peacock Blue, Shamrock Green, and Scarlet Red.

And this beauty (the apple green one)

We'll be going back this weekend to register for other fun things. Like this super cute flatwear set! Yay! :D

Pretty......

I just made this picture for no reason. It would be good as a wedding/engagement announcement or save the date cards but we're not doing that. But anyway, it's cute!

Wedding plans have been flying yet again. We are trying to get things set with the DJ, who won't call me back, and the venue for the reception/dance. To cut down on the cost of the church we are not having the reception there like we had originally planned. It would have been nice, but not for the price they wanted us to pay. Pretty ridiculous. Especially since my parents are members there...oh well. This will work out fine. I don't know if I ever mentioned but we will be driving off in my Papaw's classic Studebaker. He will be our driver and i hope to find him a chauffer's hat. He will look so cute! Here he is in his car. I love my Papaw! I just hope we don't break down before we get out of the parking lot. How embarrassing! Haha He does have problems with it sometimes! Maybe he can fine tune it in the next few months.
What else, what else......My mom got an arbor for Christmas that we are going to use as a "backdrop" for the ceremony. It's really pretty. We may wrap some ivy on it with some twinkle lights. There is going to be a bird/feather theme. We are sticking ostrich feathers in the ferns on the stage, the flower girl will throw feathers and petals, the ring bearer will carry a bird's nest instead of a pillow. My bouquet holder will have ostrich feather's spilling from it. I wish i could find a picture of this because i have a really hard time explaing it to people.
For the reception we are using pretty bird cages (hopefully they will be all different ones) with candles or flowers inside and nests with candles around. The wedding favors will be small nests with robins eggs (jordan almonds or some other kind of candy). Hmmm.....that's all I can think of right now.
The material for the bridesmaid dresses has come in but my mom hasn't had time to go get it yet. I'll be glad when she atleast gets to start on them. I can't wait to see with they are going to look like!
Less than 5 months I will be Mrs. Heath Kirkwood! Ahhh!! :D
