Once Again....

Wedding plans are at a stand-still. What to do, What to do? The big thing right now is to work on the guest list but we can't seem to remember to do that! We've got a lot of addresses so all we need to do is put them together and think of any more folks we need to add....loads of fun. I can't wait for my dress to come in. It should be here in January. Then we can start on alterations. I still don't know if I want a viel or maybe something like this:

Kinda chic huh? Just don't know yet. I'm kind nervous for my back to be showing because someone once told me that I break out in big red splotches when i get nervous. Obviously, I didn't know this since I can't see my back when i'm nervous. I sure don't want my back to be all red and splotchey while I'm walking down the isle....haha.

I keep having these crazy dreams about my wedding. Like the other night I dreamed it was my wedding day and nothing was ready. I get to the church and realize I've forgotten my shoes. Then, there was this weird confrence before the wedding and Heath was there. I was crying and saying that he isn't supposed to see me yet! Everything was all wrong. Is this normal to have such dreams? I have a feeling they will only get worse and more frequent the closer it gets to the wedding day. Oh yay.

One Cold Photo Shoot

For Thanksgiving we went to Oklahoma to visit Heath's family. While we were there we got his uncle Micah to take some photos of us. We never took engagement photos so I guess you can see these are our better-late than-never engagement photos! He did a great job! He hasn't edited any of the photos yet but I played with them a little on Picnik.com (really awesome website!) Here are a few of my faves! It was freezing so our noses look a tad bit pink in some of these! It had to be 40 degrees at the highest!

The Photographer

This amazing guy is doing my photography. His site is worth checking out. Be sure and check out his blog too. I haven't decided yet about my bridal photos....i'll probably wind up doing them after the wedding sometime. I don't really want to think about it until then! haha... I will probably get my sis to take a few before hand just so I can have some.

Bridesmaids!

We also picked out bridesmaids material and the pattern. So we had a productive weekend! The lace will be an overlay and the scalloped part will hang just a bit below the hem. They will have cute little sleeves like this dress (it's one I tried on. my mom loved the sleeves).

We're using a wide ribbon belt that ties in the back. I'm totally going to want one for myself! I may try to get my little sis to give me hers since she probably won't wear it again! I can't wait to see how they look!

My dress!

My mom came in this past weekend and we went out on the search for a wedding dress. What I thought would turn out to be a tearful day actually went really well! See, I tend to have pretty expensive taste and my mom just wasn't willing to pay a ton of money for a wedding dress. So I was afraid I wouldn't even find one that I liked and that was in her price range. It was quite on the contrary....I fell i love with the first one I tried on. We hadn't even looked at the price yet. I prepared myself as a picked up the tag then let out a sigh of relief. The dress looks like it would cost $1,000 but was only $550! Score! Of course I tried on several more after that just in case I found something I liked better. This wasn't the style I thought I wanted. From the beginning I wanted one with a big poofy bottom, no beading and no lace. I saw it in a magazine and wanted my mom to make one like it. And It was gorgeous! But I just kept thinking about the first one I tried on. So the next morning we just went and put the money down for it and ordered it. YAY! So here it is!
